Say WHAT!!! A sleepover in the middle of the week on a school night. NEVER! Except if there is a really fun day at school the next day and your daughter begs. I am a push over sometimes when it comes to my kids, so Lillie got to have Chloe stay the night on a Wednesday. We went to joanns, planned out the costumes for HUMAN CIVILIZATION DAY and that was it. Came home did some measurements on the girls and sewed them up some pretty cool costumes. I LOVE being a mom! At times I want to pull my hair out and move to Nashville and live in a old little house all by myself, but for the most part it is the BEST thing ever. Sure we have lot's of drama in the house {mostly my 16 year old} and lot's of fighting {lillie and seth} and dinners that they say I don't like that, but I wouldn't change any of it..{well maybe less 16year old drama}. I love that I can whip up 60 cupcakes or bake 4 doz cookies...or sit at goalie clinic just to watch her do her thing. I also LOVE that I can SEW and that I am a pretty crafty girl. Some people always ask, was your mom a crafter..and I giggle NO. My mom was the GEMCO mom, tv dinners store bought cupcakes and costumes from woolworths. She had many other gifts, but being domesticated was NOT one of them. So really I don't know where it comes from. Maybe my Nana, {my dad's mom} she was a great seamstress and cook so maybe that's where it is from but definitely not from my own mom. I am grateful though to be "that" mom. The one who can do it all at times. This morning Lillie was so excited to wear her costume that we designed together and her friend Chloe was excited to see how a sewing machine worked. So I can pretty much sum up this week as so far so good...{even though today my little guy Seth is super sick...}..Don't you just hate it when your kids are sick??..Well I hope everyone has a great Thursday and now I will share some pics, the costumes..and some goalie clinic.... xo xo m

Goalie clinic is almost 2 hours of being with your kind...LILLIE LOVES CLINIC..and her goalie coach is AWESOME...{that's lillie in the middle}
