Right here!! Sorry friends the personal blog took a mini break. I sometimes don't know how life gets so crazy, but I will tell you where I have been the last couple of weeks. Where do I even start? Well Polkadot Whimsy is always busy which is a awesome thing that I am SO very grateful for and it is only going to get better as I have a whole list of plans and goals for my little company. With that though comes allot of time spent doing allot of behind the sences stuff. Exciting stuff! Then there is family and over the past couple of weeks they have taken center stage. Some of you may or may not know but my oldest daughter danika is a mom she is only 20 and right now has a ton of bricks on her small frail shoulders. Liam her son is a full time job, which she already has. She is learning the stresses of adult hood and she isn't handling them very well. We had a pretty big scare with her we thought she had a stroke and it turns out she was deficient potassium and has severe anxiety AT 20. Crazy stuff I tell you. So with some breathing techniques and trying to lessen her stress she is doing a little better. Nobody said mother hood is easy, I am really glad though that she has found a young friend who is also a mom and the two of them have been hanging out allot together which is nice to see her finally socializing again. It pains me to see her go through all this, i went through {having a baby at only 17, danika} but i seem to handle stress a little different, i have always had a creative side so that has always been my outlet whether it was dance or re-decorating my tiny studio when she was a baby. So please say a small prayer for her that she can get a better handle on things, I feel so bad that I can't help her and watch liam more it is just I work to and even though it's from home it is a totally different monster than working outside the house...lol. So that was danika and then we have Caitlin our 16 year old, who has not had the best high school experiences if your my friend on face book then you know what I am talking about. So we have made the decision to pull her out for the rest of the year and do independent study and then switch her schools for her Senior year next year. Makes me so sad that she will not graduate from CHS but what do you do the bully's win. So that has taken some time up meeting with a principle that is no help what so ever, which now takes me to the superintendent for carlsbad unified we will see how that goes. Moving on to the 3rd child Lillie, my soccer player. Anyone who has children in sports knows it takes allot of time BUT if your child is in competitive sports it is even worse. Lillie is a goal keeper for her team always has been. So the past two weekends we have spent up in lancaster ca for her national cup and i can happily say we are done. We lost our last game so we do not advance and play this coming weekend THANK GOODNESS. now I love the game but every weekend a 3+ hour drive and hotels I am going to have to get a outside job..lol.. Now I do have one more kiddo Seth, but nothing to report there he just plays with his legos and pretty much that's it easy peasy.. So if you have read all this you know that my life the past month has been crazy!!! All worth it though because family is the MOST important thing in the world. So with that all said let me get back to PDW for a minute. Have you ever lost your mojo, your creative streek? Well i kinda feel that is where i am. Like all this family drama and life has filtered in my brain and taken over. My sweet little online class is awesome and the book turned out beautiful but that's it...there has been nothing else created since..YIKES me the one who creates everyday..NOTHING..so I went on a little creative tour. I look at some blogs..searched etsy for a while and then went to the book store where I found this...
no I am not getting married..BUT the ideas in here where awesome and after I admit taking some pictures of the ideas with my phone as I was to cheap to buy it, I noticed I was loving the whole book..so I bought it. So that is what help my creative mojo. Just stepping back re-focusing. Working from home can sometimes take that away, because there is not only work but laundry, bills, grocery shopping, dinner to be made and after school homework to be done. If you do work from home I have a awesome blog for you to read plus i get her newsletter which is great...Well I hope I have babbled to long. I have some big plans for this little blog to. Like a makeover coming soon and more random stuff. I was trying to figure out what I want this blog to be. What i want is a place to share my family chaos {because there is always alot of it} and also to share my creative side with all of you. Sound good...oh one more thing..we still have a few "i love my life" class kits here..so you can sign up at anytime....

being such good friends I really didn't even know how hectic it's been for you lately.... i'm sorry girly
